National Night Out (Against Crime) 2018

National Night Out is a community-wide event to increase awareness for anti-crime partnerships among neighborhoods, businesses, local law enforcement and first responders. Held annually across the country, the Town Creek/Forest Meadow event was held October 2, 2018 in the Skyview cafetorium, attracting more than 150 residents.

Featured guest speakers included Assistant U.S. Attorney, P.J. Meitl, the local leader for “Project Safe Neighborhood”.

Other presentations included City Councilman Adam McGough discussing the city’s “End Panhandling Now” campaign, Crime Watch Manager Graham Bryant’s rundown of neighborhood crime statistics, and the Volunteer in Patrol (VIP) lead for Town Creek and Forest Meadow, Mark Duval, explained how that program is designed to support our Crime Watch system and the Dallas Police Department.
